Current Stamp Duty in Delhi

To obtain legal ownership of a property, you must pay the stamp duty, a tax levied by the government. Stamp duty is calculated based on the circle rate applicable. Stamp duty is payable on the circle rate value or the agreement value of the property, whichever is higher. The rate at which stamp duty is calculated in Delhi varies between 4% and 6% depends on whether a male or female owns the property.

1. Determine the property’s built-up area: You will find it in the property-related documents.
