Land ownership plays an integral role in protecting the rights of the titleholder. Therefore, accessing the land records becomes necessary for every citizen to be able to claim it. Land records contain information regarding records of rights, tenancies, sale deeds, etc.,
under different sub-jurisdictions of the state.
For Madhya Pradesh citizens, the online portal MP Bhulekh is the place where they can view their land records, Khasra, Khatauni, etc.
The launch of the online land record portal, MP Bhulekh, was a part of the Central Government’s Digital India initiative. The aim was to assist landowners or potential property buyers in finding land-related documents online. From the ownership pattern to
rights of land, productive potential of the land, etc., all the information can be obtained from this website.
The land and revenue department issues a document that consists of land and crop details of a particular piece of land and is known as Khasra. Other than the above-mentioned information, you can also find the survey number, land revenue, area, address details, etc., in this record.
To assign Khasra numbers to every land area of a particular village, Shajra is used to display the entire map of the specified village.
Khatauni is a document that comprises all the Khasra records and also provides information regarding a group of land cultivators, including the areas they cultivate. In this legal document, you will find the Khasra and Khata number, name of the landowner and his father, year-wise ownership change details, etc.
You can simply submit the land details to access the land records in the Bhulekh MP portal. However, in case you want to save this information or download the land records, here are the steps to log in:
